### A year of loan-origination roadmap, shipped in months

Used the AI-orchestrated delivery system to improve and speed up Loan Origination for a private-lending loan origination system (LOS): sales funnel build-out, task automation and management, a complete loan origination feature set, seamless integration with essential third-party systems, and AI-powered due-diligence automation inside the product. A roughly one-year traditional roadmap shipped in a few months.
The stakes: The platform serves 400+ private lenders across the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand under SOC 2 Type II, and had just been recapitalized by BVP Forge, the private-equity arm tied to Bessemer Venture Partners. Velocity without quality drift was the whole assignment.

A five-engineer agentic team modernizing internal platforms for two French firms: accounts and bookkeeping automation of legacy systems, anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing compliance checks, automated data updates and event propagation across the ecosystem, and French government API integrations. Technical direction of the roughly 30-engineer Tanbits account building the operations module, integrations module, BI modules and workflow engine for Avelios, the SAP-recommended successor to IS-H. Architecture, quality, client-facing leadership, delivery, and coordination between Tanbits directors and the client’s product organization.
The stakes: SAP is exiting the hospital information system market; IS-H support ends around 2030 and up to 1,000 hospitals across Germany and Europe need to replace legacy hospital information system (HIS). Building a complete HIS is not for the faint-hearted. Replacing legacy hospital IT is one of healthtech’s hardest problems.

The entire multi-tenant central research platform plus offline-first mobile apps that let scientists and community observers record research data in remote places like the Bering Sea and sync when they return from the field. Tribally owned and operated, with a formal co-management agreement with NOAA Fisheries under the Marine Mammal Protection Act, featured in the NOAA Arctic Report Card 2025.
The hard problems: Offline-first is the default, not the edge case: conflict-safe capture, durable local storage, trustworthy sync. Multi-tenancy is a governance requirement, not just infrastructure, because communities own and control their data under the CARE Principles. The users are non-technical field observers who need ruggedness and simplicity.

### The control surface for a satellite operator’s ground estate
Client: Eutelsat Group (World’s first integrated GEO-LEO operator · Paris · Euronext + LSE). Program: Operations dashboard for the ground and device technology estate. Period: 2024 – 2025 · Contract. Started as a backend-to-IoT contract engineer and grew into leading the six-senior team building the complex internal, client-facing operations dashboard: the web interface through which the entire ground and device technology estate is monitored and controlled. Integrated all device controls end-to-end, from backend services to IoT-connected ground hardware, with real-time telemetry, alarms, service provisioning, traffic shaping and capacity management for network operators.
The stakes: Ground-segment software is what keeps a constellation usable. In January 2025 a two-day OneWeb outage was caused by a ground-segment software leap-year bug. Operator-grade monitoring and control software is not a nice-to-have; it is the half of a satellite network nobody sees until it fails.
Numbers: 650+ OneWeb LEO satellites; 341 geostationary satellites; 6,500 TV channels through the fleet; 40+ ground station sites; 6 senior engineers led.
What shipped:
- One dashboard integrating all controls of the devices involved, backend to hardware.
- Real-time telemetry, alarm, provisioning, traffic-shaping and capacity interfaces used by network operators.
- Cross-org alignment of APIs, protocols and operational semantics with the much larger satellite and devices engineering organization.
- Worked within Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) and satellite transport constraints: Internet Protocol (IP) encapsulation into MPEG transport stream (MPEG-TS), multicast delivery, datacasting, real-time performance and broadcast-grade availability.

I led the 25-person team that built the asset performance management (Enoviimax) and hospital operations automation platforms integrated into the Saudi National Health Command Center, during COVID-era national digitization. Nationwide tracking of medical equipment, real-time telemetry from device fleets including GE medical devices, preventive and corrective maintenance automation, inventory and scheduling, under formal uptime service-level agreements (SLAs).
The stakes: A maintenance platform for critical medical equipment cannot be down during a pandemic. The NHCC was coordinating ventilator distribution and ICU capacity across the Kingdom while the platforms feeding it were being built. The healthcare system the software served was under maximum stress while the software was being written.
Numbers: 494 hospitals in the national system; ~2,259 primary healthcare centers; ~75,000 beds; 88 NHCC dashboards; 25 engineers led.
What shipped:
- asset performance management (APM) SaaS (Enoviimax) tracking medical equipment nationwide with real-time device telemetry, including GE fleets.

In my last two years at Mazajnet I built features for vFairs, exactly as COVID-19 disrupted university admissions and moved events and education online. Alongside that, the team served several universities as EdTech clients and I took part in events educating faculty and management on how technology could help their institutions.
The moment: vFairs revenue grew roughly 20x in 2020 to $17.2M while bootstrapped, on its way to 30,000+ events and 100M+ attendees. Contributing features in 2018–2020 meant building during the run-up to that explosion.

## The AI-orchestrated delivery system

I don’t “use AI tools.” I run a development operating model built on them.
01. PRD-first. AI-drafted, human-reviewed, detailed product requirement documents drive every build. Specs are the contract between me, the client, and the agents.
02. Orchestrator pattern. A coordinating AI session spawns and manages sub-sessions with distinct roles: builders implementing features in parallel, reviewers validating builder output, testers. The orchestrator also manages the roadmap.
03. File-based durable state. Context, decisions and the roadmap live in versioned files, not model memory. Compounding engineering that survives any single session and accumulates institutional knowledge across weeks of work. Sessions are disposable; the state is not.
04. Validated output. AI-written unit tests and Playwright end-to-end tests maintain near-total, CI-enforced coverage. Velocity without quality drift.
05. Full-lifecycle coverage. The pipeline runs the entire SDLC agentically: PRDs → AI development → AI Playwright testing → AI CI/CD → UAT → final delivery. Practiced daily for more than a year at Tanbits.

A defined product, module or platform delivered end-to-end by a small agentic team I direct. The way Mortgage Automator’s loan origination shipped in months, and the way Primexis and Groupe Aplitec’s regulated automation ran through the full pipeline.
Scope: PRD authored with you, AI-drafted and human-reviewed, as the contract; Parallel builder agents, reviewer agents, AI-written unit and Playwright suites at near-total coverage; CI/CD, UAT support, and a maintenance window with durable project state handed over; Laravel/PHP or Node.js/TypeScript, with React, Vue, Next or Nuxt on the front.

Audit and redesign how your engineering org ships with AI.
A short engagement to assess your current AI-assisted development, then design the orchestration, state, review and testing layers that turn tool usage into a system. Grounded in what the studies actually show: averages of 10 to 15%, 30%+ only for comprehensive approaches.

Q: What roles are you looking for?
A: Engineering leadership first: Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, or Tech Lead over multiple teams, where I can install the AI-orchestrated delivery system. Q: Laravel or Node.js?
A: Both, at senior depth, each proven on national or enterprise-scale production systems: Laravel on the NHCC asset platform and Avelios modules; Node.js/TypeScript on the Eutelsat operations dashboard and the ISN platform. Vue/Nuxt and React/Next on the front.

Q: What does “80 engineers” actually mean?
A: Second-line management at Tanbits, a company of about 120. Roughly 80 engineers are under my technical direction; I manage their team leads, and the leads manage their teams. Before that: 25 direct reports at Ascend, 6 senior engineers at Eutelsat, 5 engineers at Mazajnet.

Q: How do you defend the AI productivity claims?
A: With specific numbers and their counterweights. Copilot RCT: 55.8% faster. Enterprise longitudinal study: 31.8% efficiency gain. Bain: 30%+ only for comprehensive approaches. METR: experienced devs 19% slower on familiar code. Veracode: 45% of GenAI samples had OWASP Top 10 issues. The system, PRDs, reviewer agents and CI-enforced tests, exists because of the last two.

Q: Was Eutelsat overlapping with Tanbits?
A: Yes, deliberately. Eutelsat was a contract engagement in 2024 – 2025 alongside my Tech Lead role at Tanbits, which began January 2023 and continues.
